Overview

We help you cut downtime with FRAM® coolant filters and additives. Circulating debris in a cooling system can lead to premature component failure, and this FRAM® line of heavy duty coolant filtration products provide both critical filtration as well as additive packages.

COOLANT SYSTEM MAINTENANCE ACCESSORIES

Coolant Analysis Kit, SP9109

  • Measures antifreeze level and concentrations of cooling system corrosion inhibitor additives in engine.
  • Provides fast and accurate results of nitrite and molybdate levels and cooling system maintenance recommendations.
  • Test before coolant maintenance is performed.

Liquid Coolant Additives

(Type II Liquid Coolant Additive, SP3781)

  • 16-ounce plastic bottle formulated with borate/nitrite chemistry for all heavy duty coolant system required phosphate free environment
  • Provides engine protection against cavitation damage in cylinder liners and controls acid accumulation in heavy duty diesel applications
  • Formulated for use with glycol based heavy duty coolants, as well as marine and railroad diesel applications where water is used as the coolant.

(Type IV Liquid Coolant Additive, SP3971)

  • 16-ounce plastic bottle formulated with Phosphate/Nitrite/Molybdate chemistry for all heavy duty coolant system
  • Designed to provide diesel engine with improved pitting liner and corrosion protection for solder and aluminum components
  • Formulated for use with glycol based heavy duty coolants, as well as marine and railroad diesel applications where water is used as the coolant.

Spin-On Remote Mount, SP243237

  • Allows coolant filter to be retrofitted if not standard equipment.
  • Integral mounting bracket.
  • Useable with all Fram® spin-on coolant filters, except PR393 and PR3433.
  • Dimensions: Center port threaded to fit 11/16” – 16. Inlet and outlet ports threaded to 3/8” – 18 N.P.T.M
