Honeywell Consumer Products Group Wins Five Global Design Awards at AAPEX Show

Web and Product Packaging Designs Recognized Among Best in the Aftermarket

Danbury , Conn. , November 13, 2007 — Honeywell Consumer Products Group, the premium supplier of spark plugs, filters, cooling system chemicals and brake products, won five Global Design Awards including a Best of Show during this year's Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas.

Presented by Aftermarket Business magazine and the Automotive Communications Council, the award competition, now in its 13 th year, was launched in an effort to recognize some of the most notable marketing and advertising innovators in the industry.

The FRAM brand′s website was among only six projects that received a "Best of Show" award. The website, designed by Visual Concepts, is a great online resource for visitors with features including installation videos, rotating banners highlighting the latest news, product descriptions and images, motorsports information and an interactive parts catalog.

The Autolite brands website also won a Gold for its design and functionality and the Prestone site won an Honorable Mention. In the Bronze Packaging category, the Bendix brand received an award for its Bendix CQ® ceramic brake pads packaging and Prestone won in the Promotions category for its "Get Cash for Your Car" promotional material, both of which were designed by Conn.-based Tom Fowler Inc.
